The festive Annual General Assembly marking 30 years since LE.K.A.M. was founded, together with the cutting of the New Year pie, took place with great success on Sunday 23 February 2025 at the NOESIS Science Center and Technology Museum.
Many of the club’s founding members came along after many years, and as expected there were many moving moments.
At the entrance to NOESIS a static display of beautiful classic cars drew every visitor’s attention.
The stars of the show were the very rare 1929 MORGAN Aero Super Sport three-wheeler with a 1111 cc JAP engine, owned by Mr Marios EKKLISIARCHOS, and the impressive 1982 FERRARI MONDIAL QUATTROVALVOLE owned by Mr Gerasimos ILIADIS.
The opening speech was given by founding member Mr Michail GKAVEZOS, who also hosted the event.
The PRESIDENT, Mr Nikolaos PAPADOPOULOS, then welcomed the official guests and LE.K.A.M. members, speaking about the club’s history, its events over the years and the 2025 programme.
We also remembered the members who are no longer with us with a minute’s silence.
The New Year pie was then cut, followed by the regular annual general assembly of members.
Afterwards, members and guests toured the Automobile and Technology Museum inside NOESIS and admired the beautiful and rare cars on display.
At the end of the event, members left with many fine memories and made a date for 8–9 March 2025 at the 21st LE.K.A.M. SPRING RALLY, which this year starts in Amyntaio, FLORINA, and finishes in the beautiful town of Kastoria.
The LE.K.A.M. Board warmly thanks everyone who joined the 30th-anniversary celebration, and especially the owners of the beautiful cars in the static display in the NOESIS courtyard.
