LE.K.A.M. is organising a two-day leisure and educational tour of the Drama and Kavala regions on 18–19 November, with one night in the town of Drama.
Cars meet in Drama at 11:00 on Saturday 18 November. From there we take the Drama–Kavala provincial road to Adriani, where we stop at the Domaine Costa Lazaridi winery for a guided tour, then drive on to the BAIS restaurant for lunch. The rest of the day is free for the crews.
On Sunday 19 November we leave in the morning for the archaeological site of Philippi, where an experienced guide will take us round the site, the ancient theatre, the Roman forum and the museum. We then meet for lunch at a local restaurant before heading home.
The cost is €120 per crew. This includes event insurance, insurance for each car, one night at a hotel in Drama and the guided visit to Philippi. A wine tasting at the winery (white and red wines with a cheese platter) is available for €10 per person, if at least twenty people sign up.
